Amanda Montell é uma escritora, pesquisadora e linguista nascida em Baltimore, Maryland, EUA. Ela é autora da obra aclamada pela crítica Wordslut: A Feminist Guide to Taking Back the English Language, que está se tornando uma adaptação televisiva em parceria com o FX. Ela também é a criadora e apresentadora do podcast Sounds Like A Cult.
