Helen Castor é uma historiadora especializada em Inglaterra medieval e catedrática da Sidney Sussex College, na Universidade de Cambridge. Seu primeiro livro, Blood & Roses, foi indicado ao Samuel Johnson Prize em 2005 e ganhou o English Association's Beatrice White Prize em 2006. Seu segundo livro, She-Wolves, foi transformado em um documentário para a BBC2 e está disponível na Netflix.Helen vive em Londres com o marido e o filho.
