Gilbert Keith Chesterton (1874-1936) foi um dos mais importantes escritores ingleses. Estudou literatura na University College e pintura e desenho na Slade School.Começou sua carreira como jornalista, fazendo amizade com Winston Churchill, Henry James e outros.
