Boccaccio, Giovanni
GIOVANNI BOCCACCIO nasceu em 1313, provavelmente em Certaldo, pequena cidade perto de Florença, onde passou a primeira infância. Obrigado pelo pai a se dedicar à carreira jurídica, Boccaccio, no entanto, desde cedo se apaixonou pelas Musas e se tornou um autor prolífico.
