IAN KERSHAW nasceu em 1943 em Oldham, Inglaterra. Foi professor de história contemporânea na Universidade de Sheffield, da qual se aposentou em 2008. Especialista na Alemanha nazista, escreveu importantes obras sobre o assunto. Dele, a Companhia das Letras publicou Dez decisões que mudaram o mundo (2008), Hitler (2010), O fim do Terceiro Reich (2015) e De volta ao inferno (2016). |
